Ok… I’ve decided that I shouldn’t be nervous about my body anymore.
I’ve had a lot of time to accept myself. And I’m sure that people who see me for who I really am will see past my scars from the accident.
Every day I scroll past boys with underwear on, with nice bodies, abs, clean skin, some things I know that are impossible for me to obtain.
My two seat belt scars are on both sides above my hip bones, and my bandage is covering my incision from the surgery because I have an open wound atm.
It has been two years since the accident and I am getting happier. I am getting there. I really am.
I realized I don’t have to be like the magazine/tumblr boys to feel happy about the way I look.
So maybe, just maybe I can wear only underwear, letting complete strangers know who I am instead of who I scroll past every day.
So I give a polite “fuck you” to the perfect bodies. Because sometimes we can’t control what happens. But I’m getting happy. So I think that the scars are starting to count for something more.

I am so glad to see this!
bless this post
I am so sick of seeing slender women posed as villains, as though their existence is a direct attack on other body types. I fucking love this post.

A man with OCD recites a poem about his one true love. It’s heartbreaking.
Saw this on reddit and immediately looked for the video to reblog on here because it’s really fantastic
those last two lines hit me like a fucking train
Fuck. Way to bring the feels out!
FUCK!!! Not ok.
he lowers his wand because he knows that scene. A woman jumps in front of Harry willing to protect him with her own life. He didn’t see this with his own eyes but the resemblance literally disarms him for a moment before he can keep on playing his role.
Go sit in the corner and think about what you’ve done.
